Oh the bottle...

I've been wanting to ween Rhonen from the bottle for a while now, but as you can see...it hasn't happened yet. He usually has one or two bottles a day before he sleeps. We're going to try to make this happen before little brother comes, but it might be a rough transition. I don't want to give the new baby a bottle and on the other hand tell Rhonen no :( But it's time to gradually take the bottle away, so we'll see how it goes. I'm not making any promises...in fact that might be my new mantra.

Rhonen is now talking! Yep, that's right. Over the past two weeks he began saying one word after another and is constantly asking "what" things are. Currently his repertoire consists of the following:

dada
mama
no-he's quite proficient at this one
yeah
all done
eyes
ants

He tries to say other words like bathtub, glasses, more, and this but he hasn't quite mastered them. It's only a matter of time before he'll be rambling off sentences :)

First Swim

This year we were finally able to take Rhonen into the pool. He was a little unsure at first...the temperature was colder than his bath so it took a little getting used to. I think he had fun, which is good because we'll be spending a lot of time in the pool this summer due to my growing condition.

Go Giants

We took a quick trip to San Francisco to see our Giants play ball. The drive was a little long for Rhonen but it was fun! And they won the game!
